I never liked Eminem, and after his attack on Trump I like him even less. If he is doing guys I really don't care.

“Don't call me gay”, says Italy designer Stefano Gabbana

17 December 2017

ROME (AFP) -
Italian designer Stefano Gabbana, one half of the iconic Dolce & Gabbana brand, said Sunday that he was tired of being labelled by his sexuality.

"I don't want to be called gay, because I'm simply a man... full stop," the 55-year-old said in an interview with Italy's Corriere della Sera daily.

"The word 'gay' was invented by those who need to label people, and I don't want to be identified by my sexual choices," he said.

Gabbana launched the luxury fashion label in 1984 with his partner Domenico Dolce, and although they separated in 2004 the couple continued to work together.

"I thought that I could help spread a new culture as a famous person, a culture no longer based on gay rights but on human rights. We are human beings before being gay, heterosexual or bisexual," Gabbana said.

The Milanese couturier said gay associations "often serve as a defence, but I don't want to be protected by anyone, because I've done nothing wrong".

He said he realised he was homosexual aged 18, when his girlfriend "who I really liked" came to visit him for a weekend in Milan, but when they went dancing he "was watching the men more than her".

"I had known (about being gay) for a while, but I didn't have the courage to admit it. Only through therapy did I realise that there had been clear signs in my childhood.

"I wanted to play alone... because I felt different from the other children and I feared that if we were together they would realise. And they would tell my mother," he added.

well that and it's foreigners...they never complain about how gays are treated outside the US

Sure enough, I checked Out.com, GLAAD, and Towleroad. No mention of this at all.

ALSO: I meant to tell you all this a while ago. I found a Facebook group for gay conservatives called The Gay Conservative Movement. Its pretty good. Only about 300 members, so it doesn't get too overrun or confusing, and anyone who is a member can post unlike many of the gay conservative pages on FB.

Just so y'all know, I helped get Toomey into office in 2010, and then I helped him get re-elected last year. I'm VERY happy with the results of my efforts.

BTW, how much do you wanna bet the gay media will never publish this because Toomey is a Republican??

It is TRULY amazing to watch this sudden Puritanical hysteria that the Left has fallen into.

they went from 'free love'; 'if it feels good do it': 'women are free to have sex like a man' to 'dare I eat a peach?' clutching of the pearls.

there was an article the other day (sorry don't know where I saw it) but the question was 'do we REALLY need to explain what sexual harassment is?' the premise being that it's 2017 and we all 'know' what it is...it's settled. But no it's NOT settled. When the definition of 'sexual harassment' is based on feelings, not only IN the moment but fifteen years in the future, then everyone is at risk.

and that goes back to the adage that if 'everything is a crime, then nothing is a crime'

smh

(ESPECIALLY bemused at the whole Kevin Spacey thing...didn't the same people celebrate ol Sam Adams for doing a teen? I thought the 'age of consent' was an outdated middle class notion? and gay boys were supposed to be open season?)

maybe not in an official legal sense, Milo, but he has been tried and found guilty in the kangaroo court of the Liberals.

He certainly has. I'm still waiting to see whether or not he gets stripped of his Oscars. He's already been kicked out of a couple of organizations in the industry. This is reminding me of how they treated Bill Cosby leading up to his trial. There was no need to rescind Cosby's honorary degrees, or take his name off any of the buildings. Especially since his trial ended up with a hung jury.

I haven't heard that Weinstein is facing any criminal charges...yet.

You're right that women were indeed more respected in the old days. That got lost along the way, but it is a throwback that the "wymin" seem to want back.

the Left has created this new age of 'free' sex...now they want to go to a system where a woman is 'respected'...well we HAD that! They were the ones saying they didn't WANT that.

and honestly, I feel bad for Weinstein...I mean, the man grew up in the whole 'free love' thing; women could be like men and just sleep around however they wanted to...and if a woman wanted to trade her body for a part in a movie, who could tell her she couldn't? it's HER body...no slutshaming! It's a little unfair to suddenly change the rules and charge men with all these crimes that weren't crimes when they happened.
