Your help is wanted in finding when and the news on the death of Dr. Andre "Portelinlibre" Fortier.
At the beginning, it is known that Dr. Andre "Portelinglibre" Fortier did original pastels paintings like his father did; both were realists in style with touches of Impressionism. Dr. Andre "Portelinlibre" Fortier realistic landscapes then become more opened and vanguard as he sought liberty ! Noted too as a film producer, Dr. Andre "Portelinlibre" Fortier's documentary in Ottawa (Ontario, Canada) on the actrice Florence Castonguay is well known. As an artist painter as well drawer and sculptor, Dr. Andre "Portelinlibre" Fortier  works of art were in exhibitions in the United States, France and Canada, in these 3 countries where he enjoyed creating especially his paintings and at times his drawings (but those in secret); a few of his paintings are documented, but his drawings and sculptures are less so as hidden being kept by collectors. As a professor he had the highest degree by the famous Sorbonne, and Dr. Andre "Portelinlibre" Fortier was also a book writer, and did researches by interviewing many famous cinema and stage actors and other artists such as Ronald Belanger and Langdonart among other great painters. As a journalist, Dr. Andre "Portelinlibre" Fortier documents were written in many newspapers as such news were in special columnist events in Le Droit in Ottawa in Ontario / Hull in Quebec and La Presse in Montreal. Indeed Dr Andre "Portelinlibre"  Fortier paintings are rarest and his appreciation code climbs rapidly now that he is deceased.
