Well this is what happened the last time someone planned to blow up Parliament.
"Prompted by the receipt of an anonymous letter, the authorities searched Westminster Palace
in the early hours of 5 November, 1605 and found Guy Fawkes guarding the explosives. Over the next few days, he was questioned and tortured, and eventually he confessed.

Their genitals would be cut off and burnt before their eyes, and their bowels and hearts removed. They would then be decapitated, and the dismembered parts of their bodies displayed so that they might become "prey for the fowls of the air".
"Immediately before his execution on 31 January, Fawkes fell from the scaffold where he was to be hanged and broke his neck, thus avoiding the agony of the mutilation that would have followed."
