now this is one guy I am very confused about. What do ya'll think?
on the one hand, I think we DO need to be more sensitive to bullying in school...but bullying isn't all about sexuality. So why focus? and the more I hear about this guy the more I am not feeling happy about him..
at first I thought he was being picked on because he is active in the gay community..but now I am wondering. Am I just being swayed by the pundits?
here are some articles about him...
http://www.thenewamerican.com/index.php/culture/education/1863-safe-schools-czar-jennings-should-be-expelledhttp://www.thenewamerican.com/index.php/culture/education/2020-jennings-coverup-exposes-more-media-malfeasancethe most interesting part of this article to me is how the Department of Education is handling the situation...they say there is no written statement but the spokesman will READ it to reporters over the phone if they call...well, it has to be written if he is reading it..correct? I agree with the reporter that it is an attempt to shut the story down..
(these two articles are from a VERY right wing source but the information cited is footnoted)
they have transcripts and recordings of Jennings group teaching children as young as 12 how to 'fist' and perform various other sexual acts. Their suggestion to these middle school kids on how to determine their sexuality? "You dont' know if you like it if you don't try it"
but what really has turned me against
this guy is this stuff:
http://www.regularfolksunited.com/index.php?tab=article_view&article_id=2547it also has me furious with the 'gay culture' that would not only accept but applaud men like Hays...
